What we've built.

Three projects, one pattern: look closely first, then build the right thing. From an electrical contractor to digital platforms to the public sector.

Electrical contractor, around 15 employees

Custom software
Situation
The job data was scattered across spreadsheets, messenger photos from the site and handwritten timesheets. Anyone who wanted to know the status of a project had to gather several sources, and billing dragged on because hours and material had to be reconstructed from photos and slips.
Approach
We accompanied the business at its real work, from the site to the office, and built a central web app for projects, work reports, time tracking and material out of it. After four months the first usable system was in place, and for another three months we supported the rollout during ongoing operations.
Result
Hours and material are now recorded directly on site instead of reconstructed in the evening, and billing happens in hours instead of days. The spreadsheets and the slips of paper are gone, and the owner can see at any time how his projects stand.

Online marketplaces and community platforms

Build & operate
Situation
Operators of digital platforms need more than a nice surface: they need a system that processes payments reliably and holds up even when thousands of people are active at once. That is exactly where many projects fail, because the technology can't withstand the growth.
Approach
For several online marketplaces and community platforms the founder built the technical foundation and operated it for years. This included connecting payment processing, an operation that withstands load peaks, and ongoing development in line with real usage.
Result
The platforms ran stably with thousands of active users and processed payments securely. This experience with operations, scaling and real user behavior flows into every project of the GmbH today.

Public sector

Process digitalization
Situation
In public institutions many internal processes still run on paper and in separate systems to this day. Cases move from desk to desk, media breaks cost time, and the status of a case can often only be determined by asking around.
Approach
The founder digitalized the internal processes of a public institution, placing particular emphasis on traceability and data protection. Instead of simply mapping a process, it was first streamlined and then cleanly implemented digitally.
Result
Recurring cases have since run digitally and traceably, instead of getting lost in paper and responsibilities. The project shows that the method holds even where rules are strict and the demands on documentation are high.

Projects before July 2026 were carried out by founder Tobias Dietrich and are continued by the GmbH.

Newly founded - on purpose

Dietrich Development GmbH is young. That is not a flaw we gloss over, but a deliberate decision - and an advantage for you.

No legacy processes

We carry no grown structures and no deference to outdated tools with us. We work the way it is best done today.

AI-native way of working

Modern AI tools are not retrofitted here, but part of development from the start. That makes us faster and cheaper.

A direct line to the managing director

You talk to the person who also develops and takes responsibility. No handover to an anonymous team, no broken telephone.

Modern toolchain

We build on a current, cleanly operable foundation that is still maintainable years from now - without technical ballast from yesterday.
