Privacy Policy

We take the protection of your personal data seriously. Below we inform you about the nature, scope and purpose of processing on this website.

Last updated: July 2026

Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Dietrich Development GmbH, Alemannenstraße 14, 72393 Burladingen.

Represented by Managing Director Tobias Dietrich. Email: [email protected].

Scope

This policy applies to all pages and subpages of this website as well as its German and English language versions.

Hosting

This website runs on our own server in a data center in Germany. Delivery of the website is not outsourced to external cloud providers.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and efficient provision of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Server log files

Each time the site is accessed, information is automatically collected and stored in log files: shortened IP address, date and time of the request, requested resource, referrer URL, browser and operating system used, and status codes.

Processing serves stability, security and troubleshooting. Log data is stored briefly and then deleted automatically unless a security-related analysis is required. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Contact form and email

If you write to us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, email address, subject and message) solely to handle your request and for possible follow-up questions. The form is submitted to our own server, from where the data is delivered to us by email.

The same applies to the optional email delivery of your self-check results: for this we process your email address and the answers you selected in the self-check; this does not sign you up for any newsletter.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient communication). We delete requests once they have been fully processed, at the latest after twelve months, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Web analytics and consent

For reach measurement we use Google Analytics 4. Google Analytics is only loaded after you have given your consent; without consent no analytics script is loaded and no data is transmitted to Google. You can withdraw your consent at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.

We use Google Consent Mode. Until you consent, all consent-requiring signals remain disabled. After consent we record, among other things, page views, approximate origin, device and browser, and referring sources; IP addresses are shortened.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future. Using Google services may involve a transfer to the USA; Google bases such transfers, among other things, on EU standard contractual clauses.

Recipients and processors

Your data is only shared with third parties where necessary to process your request or required by law. Service providers used (such as Google for the purposes mentioned) process personal data solely on the basis of corresponding contracts pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

Retention period

We process personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention periods. Afterwards the data is deleted.

Transfers to third countries

Where services used require a transfer to third countries (in particular the USA), we ensure appropriate safeguards (such as EU standard contractual clauses) and pay attention to an adequate level of data protection.

Your rights

Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to:

  • Access to the data processed (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Objection to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Withdrawal of consent given with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
  • Lodging a complaint with a supervisory authority, e.g. the LfDI Baden-Württemberg (Art. 77 GDPR)

To exercise your rights, an informal message to [email protected] is sufficient.

Changes to this privacy policy

We update this policy as soon as technologies, the legal situation or our processes change. The current version published here always applies.
